The Making of Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back

From rhpubgroup

I first saw Star Wars on the cover of Times magazine, then billed as “The Greatest Movie Ever Made.” I was dubious as I read about the fantastic special effects and chalked it up to marketing fluff. Then a couple of friends invited me to watch it and I was hooked. George Luca, like a certain Steve Jobs, just seems to have the knack of knowing when technology is mature enough to be used in the right way. The first Star Wars movie was the best.

J. W. Rinzler has now released a coffee table book about The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back [QuickPrice Check], filled with photographs and details never shown or published before. It should make a great gift for a fan of the Star Wars saga.
