Qatar Goodwood Festival
For five thrilling days, the world’s most prominent jockeys, trainers and owners meet on the Sussex Downs during the Qatar Goodwood Festival, affectionately known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’, for top class horseracing.
Leica Camera and Leica Sport Optics are delighted to be working with Goodwood to capture images of this unique festival and provide select guests with Leica binoculars, allowing them to be closer to the action and experience vividly this unforgettable moment.
Leica Camera has been granted special access by Goodwood for a photographer to capture this unique festival and is delighted that British photographer Matt Stuart will attend on behalf of Leica. A street photographer born in London in 1974, Matt has been capturing the humorous, ironic and spontaneous moments of everyday life in London with Leica cameras since 1996.
Equipped with a Leica M and a Leica Q, Matt will wander through the festival, watching and observing professionals and horseracing aficionados as they celebrate their passion. Allowing the Leica and Goodwood communities to discover this unique celebration from a new perspective, the resulting photographs will be shared on Leica Camera and Glorious Goodwood social media channels and, following the event, on the Leica Camera Blog.
