Fujifilm Firmware Updates for X-H2, X-T5, X-T4 and X-T3

Fujifilm has posted a number of firmware updates for the X-H2, X-T5, X-T4 and X-T3. They are basically various bug fixes.

X-H2 Firmware update – Version: 2.01

The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the brightness of the preview image in the EVF was changing dramatically depending on the brightness of the subject while half pushing the shutter button by setting “FOCUS MODE” to “CONTINUOUS AF”.

X-T5 Firmware update – Version: 1.04

  1. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the camera rarely freezes when shooting with flash under the following conditions.
    • FLASH SETTING is TTL.
    • FACE DETECTION is on and detecting plural faces.
    • Exposure Compensation is set to around “-2” using ISO, APERTURE or SHUTTER SPEED settings.
  2. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the brightness of the preview image in the EVF was changing dramatically depending on the brightness of the subject while half pushing the shutter button by setting “FOCUS MODE” to “AF-C”.
  3. Other minor bug has been fixed.

X-T4 Firmware update – Version: 1.72

The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the focus cannot be adjusted by operating the Manual Focus Ring during movie recording when using the following lenses.

  • FUJINON LENS XF14mm F2.8 R
  • FUJINON LENS XF16mm F1.4 R WR
  • FUJINON LENS XF23mm F1.4 R

X-T3 Firmware update – Version: 4.52

  1. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the focus cannot be adjusted by operating the Manual Focus Ring during movie recording when using the following lenses.
    • FUJINON LENS XF14mm F2.8 R
    • FUJINON LENS XF16mm F1.4 R WR
    • FUJINON LENS XF23mm F1.4 R
  2. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the Live View display became black out and camera froze at changing “AF Area” in the display while taking “Live View Shooting” using Wi-Fi connection with smartphone applications (FUJIFILM Camera Remote) under the following conditions.
    • “NUMBER OF FOCUS POINTS” in “AF/MF SETTING” menu is set to 425 POINTS (17 × 25).
    • “FOCUS MODE” is set to “AF-S” or “AF-C”.
