Forget the Google Doodle. Who Designs The Toronto Transit Metropass?

We all love the Google Doodles, the only “decoration” Google allows on its search page. But take a look at the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) subway Metropass.

Instead of a boring looking card, the TTC Metropass sports a different facelift every week, month and year. Print and Electronic Information Supervisor Kal Bedder started the design makeover in 2004, and has never looked back. Each year, he designs 52 weekly Metropass designs, a dozen monthly designs and lots of special passes in collaboration with event organizations for occasions like Nuit Blanche.
