Olympus OM-D E-M5 Review Published at Neocamera

A detailed review of the flagship mirrorless from Olympus was publsihed at Neocamera. This 16 MP Micro Four-Thirds camera is the first Olympus with a built-in EVF and weather-sealed body. It’s extensive feature set, numerous controls including dual control-dials make it ready for professional use.

This in-depth review covers usability, image quality and performance of the Olympus OM-D E-M5. Included is a gallery of full-resolution images from ISO 200 to 25600 and side-by-side comparison of image noise with the Fuji X-Pro1.

An interesting article over at ePHOTOzine by photographer brian1208 who has finally switched from his Canon D60 DSLR to the Olympus OM-D E-M5. The main reason it seems is weight, since the OM-D plus 4 lenses are easily 3x lighter than the corresponding Canon system. I wonder how many other photographers are making similar choices, replacing their traditional mirrored DSLR with an equivalent compact and lighter mirrorless DSLR.
