Tue November 29, 2011

From CorridorDigital

This could be dubbed the “Art Attack” sequel when Niko goes on the attack to destroy all Art to avenge the death of his twin brother by a rogue street painting. Lots of fun ensues.

In this high octane video, art comes alive and fights its creator, seemingly having the upper hand until the latter drops his gloves and decides to fight art with art. He paints an ingenous trap that crushes the evil art. Flushed with victory, he walks away…

Experience Roller Derby First-Hand With Helmet Mounted GoPro

Sun November 27, 2011

Videocams mounted on players’ helmets give a first-hand view of how roller derby feels like. Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams of five members roller skating in the same direction around a track. Game play consists of a series of short matchups (“jams”) in which both teams designate a scoring player (the “jammer”) who scores points by lapping members of the opposing team. The teams attempt to assist their own jammer while hindering the opposing jammer —in effect playing both offense and defense simultaneously. Roller derby is played by more than 1,000 amateur leagues on every inhabited continent.
