Is Samsung Supporting US at Vancouver Olympic?

Reading Samsung’s press releases, it seems that they are only supporting the US at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic.

Is this a wise marketing strategy for a global company that sells in many countries that are also participating in the Winter Olympic?
