DCRP (dcresource) has published their review of the Nikon D3000 [Specs], an entry-level Family digital SLR camera with 10.2MP (23.6 x 15.8 mm CMOS), PASM, Guide Mode, Scene Modes, 11-point AF, 3.0-in. LCD (230K dots), and RAW. There is no Live View or Movie Mode. The Nikon D3000 can be purchased with the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR kit lens which is optically image stabilized.

Olympus Stylus 7010

TrustedReviews has published their review of the Olympus Stylus 7010 (Mju 7010) [Specs], an ultra slim entry-level point-and-shoot digital camera “capable of producing good results in most normal situations” and featuring 12MP resolution (on a 1/2.33-in. CCD), 7x wide-angle optical zoom (28-196 mm equiv.), Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization, Intelligent Auto, In-Camera Panorama (click and pan), AF Tracking technology, Shadow Adjustment Technology, and a large 2.7-in. LCD (230K dots). Magic Filters allow more creative photography and a new Olympus Recommends (OR) button makes it easy to activate the camera’s unique features, including Magic Filters, In-Camera Panorama, Shadow Adjustment or Perfect Shot Preview. Record 640×480 movies with sound @ 30fps.
