The French Parliament wants to make it illegal to publish digitally altered photos of people without an appropriate mention that it was digitally altered. Fines for failing to comply can go as high as €37,500. The reason: to fight off anorexia among young people by making it clear that the fashion pictures of ultra thin models do not necessarily / often reflect reality.
