Canon Marks 30 Year Anniversary of PowerShot with Limited Edition PowerShot G7 X Mark III

Introduced in 1996, the PowerShot series of compact digital cameras has been a favorite of many photographers. To celebrate 30 years of PowerShot cameras, Canon is releasing a limited edition version of the PowerShot G7 X Mark III. The limited edition is similar to the standard model with a 1.0 inch 20.1 MP CMOS sensor, a 24-100mm (equiv.) F1.8-2.8 4.2x optical zoom fixed lens. The limited edition model differs from the standard model with a graphite color body, diamond knurling on the front lens ring, and the 30 year anniversary logo printed on the pop-up flash.

Limited Edition PowerShot G7 X Mark III Camera Available

To commemorate this anniversary, a limited edition PowerShot G7 X Mark III camera with a limited color body design and 30 year anniversary logo is currently scheduled to be released in April 2026.
