Building A Dinosaur Timelapse

The largest dinosaur mounted in Canada, Futalognkosaurus (FOO-tah-LONG-koh-SAWR-uss), rises from a floor in the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). It’s one of the largest land animals to have ever walked the planet and measured between 32 and 34 metres (105-112 ft.) long, weighed up to 40 tons and lived in what is now the high, dry plains of Patagonia, Argentina about 88 million years ago. However, it took barely 9 hours to mount it since it came in only 18 parts. You can see the Futalognkosaurus this summer June 23 at the ROM.
