Steve’s Digicams has posted their review of the Fujifilm FinePix S200EXR [Specs], a 12MP resolution (1/1.6-in. Super CCD EXR) ultra zoom digital camera which allows you to optimize the image capture according to the scene: High Resolution, Wide Dynamic Range or High Sensitivity & Low Noise. The S200EXR features optical image stabilization, a 14.3x optical zoom (30.5-436mm equiv.), a 2.7-in. LCD (230K dots) and Movie 640×480 @ 30fps.

Toyota Apologizes For Using Flickr Pictures

Lots of people now use Flickr pictures to illustrate articles and even digital photography tutorials (giving the false impression they know what they are talking about).

Now Toyota U.S.A. has apologized to Flickr photographers for using (about 40) Flickr images without their permission in its 4Runner SUV ad.

Canon EOS 7D Firmware Update

Firmware Version 1.1.0 incorporates the following fixes.

1. Corrects a phenomenon that in images captured by continuous shooting, and under certain conditions, barely noticeable traces of the immediately preceding frame may be visible.

Firmware Version 1.1.0 is for cameras with firmware up to version 1.0.9. If the camera’s firmware is already version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
