Camera Labs has posted their review of the Canon PowerShot SX120 IS [Specs], a compact ultra zoom digital camera with 10MP resolution (1/2.5-in. CCD), 10x optical zoom (36-360mm equiv.), optical image stabilization, 3.0-in. LCD (230K dots), PASM modes, Smart AUTO, Intelligent Contrast Detection, Face Detection AF/AE/FE/WB, Face Select and Track, and Movie 640×480 @ 30fps.

A digicam worn around the neck as a pendant and originally targeted to help jog the memories of people with Alzheimer’s disease, the ViconRevue SenseCam is now being marketed as a “lifelog digicam” which will record every moment of your life — à-la-Twitter, video version.

The camera is on an intervalometer and takes pictures automatically every 30 seconds or so. An accelerometer, a couple of light sensors and an infrared sensor identifiy when a person enters a new environment and detects the body heat of a person in front of the wearer — and snaps a picture to document this new change. It has a built-in 1GB memory that can fit about 30,000 images.
