Sony will make a total donation of approximately 5 million Japanese yen (approximately US$42,000) to help relief efforts in communities affected by the earthquake in Nepal.

  • This includes a donation of 3 million Japanese yen (approximately US$25,300) from Sony Corporation, together with donations to be raised from Sony Group employees in Japan and Asia-Pacific region, with their contribution being matched by the company through a matching gifts program.

(Tokyo, April 30, 2015) – Sony Corporation today announced that Sony and its group companies will make a donation of approximately 5 million Japanese yen to help relief efforts in communities affected by the earthquake in Nepal.
