This latest addition has an impressive feature set: 12 megapixel resolution, a Fujinon 5x optical zoom, 720p HD, and a NEW YouTube/Facebook easy web upload function – all in a sleek, sexy metal body . The FinePix Z70 is the perfect camera for the trendsetter looking for a blend of style with the latest functionality.
New Look
Debuting a brand new sleek look, the FinePix Z70 features a sophisticated metal body, and a cool horizontal sliding lens barrier that protects the lens. Slimmer than previous Z models, at a mere 17.9mm, this camera is portable and can be slipped into your handbag or jean-pocket with ease.
Easy Web Upload
With the popularity of Facebook and Youtube, Fujifilm has developed a new Facebook/YouTube Easy Upload feature that makes it quicker and easier to post photos/videos on social networking sites. Waste no more time sorting through all your photos on your computer to decide which to post online.
Created specifically for the Z70, there is a one-touch easy web upload button to mark a photo for Facebook or YouTube upload. Once the camera is then connected to a PC and MyFinePix Studio is launched (software supplied with the camera), all the marked photos or movies will upload directly to Facebook or YouTube at the press of a button.
Movie Editing And Web mode
Get creative and add your own finishing touches to your videos and images using many choices such as B&W, Sepia, or even add a dynamic lighting effect. Web Mode also lets you add special effects to your photos: choose from Sepia, Contrast, Brightness, Diagonal Crop or Face Mosaic to achieve different and individual looks.
High Definition with High Specification
With 720p HD image recording and a high 12 megapixel resolution, the FinePix Z70 will capture stunning, detailed images that can be played back in glorious high definition. Both still shots and video clips can be viewed in all their glory on any HD ready television*.
*To connect to an HD-ready TV, you will need a HD Card Reader and HDMI cable (optional extras).
Bigger Zoom
Hidden away within this ultra slim 17.9mm body is a high-quality Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens (36-180mm equivalent) combined with Digital Image Stabilization. And don’t worry about the lens accidently opening when in your camera case, Fujifilm has developed a sophisticated Fujinon lens that expands vertically within the body of the camera but only when the lens barrier is slid open.
Other top features
Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR AUTO) intelligently detects the scene-type and shooting conditions and optimizes the camera settings accordingly. So whether you’re photographing a group of friends in a nightclub or shooting a beach scene, the FinePix Z70 will produce perfectly balanced photos at the press of a button. The Z70 also features low-light capabilities of up to ISO 1600 at full resolution, and advanced Face Detection technology with Automatic Red-Eye Removal, Smile and Blink Detection.
Tracking Auto Focus
Previously featured on the FinePix S-series models, Tracking Auto Focus is a useful feature that tracks a moving subject automatically while the shutter is half-pressed. When you are ready to take the photo simply press the shutter button fully and your subject is in the centre of the frame in perfect focus. This is particularly useful when trying to capture an action shot where your subject is moving constantly.
