Nikon D7100 Review

Nikon D7100

The Nikon D7100 is the most advanced cropped-sensor DSLR by Nikon. It features a 24 megapixels sensor without an anti-alias filter in order to get the most details from its sensor, at least when combined with a high-quality lens. As a professional offering, the D7100 has a weather-sealed body with a bright 100% coverage viewfinder, dual control-dials and plenty of external controls.

One of the headline change from the D7000 which it succeeds, is a new 51-point AF sensor, similar to the one used by the high end D4. This one offers 15 cross-type points which allow the D7100 to track action. It can also shoot continuously at up to 6 FPS or even 7 FPS in 1.3X crop-mode, as well as record full 1080p HD video.

Read the Nikon D7100 review to find out how it handles and performs. Be sure to check out the extensive gallery of full-resolution images shot at ISO 100 all the way to 25,600.
