NEW iQ DIGITAL PICTURE FRAME FEATURES A LARGE, BRIGHT 12.1” SCREEN AND A SLEEK, ULTRA SLIM DESIGN

TORONTO, ON., July 23, 2010 – Gentec International is pleased to introduce the newest addition to its popular iQ line of digital picture frames. At only 18.5 mm deep, the DPF1210BK features a sleek, slim profile that perfectly suits any decor.

This attractive frame lets you display digital photos and video files without the use of a computer; the built-in stereo speakers let you play MP3 audio files while displaying your photos in a customizable slideshow format. And it’s extremely easy to use – simply insert a memory card into the side of the frame for plug and play operation. The DPF1210BK accepts Secure Digital (SD/SDHC), MultiMediaCard (MMC), and Memory Stick memory cards, and it also includes USB and mini-USB connections.

The high-resolution (800 x 600) 12.1” TFT-LCD display produces sharp, bright images with rich colour, and offers a wide viewing angle. The large 2GB built-in memory lets you store over 1,600 photos, which are easy to manage and view with the user-friendly, on-screen display. The collapsible easel-back stand makes table-top setup easy.

  • Just bought an iQ digital photo frame from London Drugs Brentwood store in Calgary.

The instruction booklet says it has 2G of internal memory but does not tell how to load files to the internal memory or how to access files when loaded.

    Please advise.

  • According to the user manual for this model ( http://webservice.gentec-intl.com/gentecinc/items/dpf800sb/manuale.pdf ), you can simply connect the photo frame to your PC and then drag-and-drop from your PC to internal memory. However, you don’t need to do that (i.e. copy to internal memory, delete from internal memory and then copy newer pics, etc.). Instead, copy your photos to a USB (or SD card) and just plug it in; the device will read directly from the USB or SD card and display a slide show.

  • I turned on my IQ Digital Picture Frame today and it won’t work…just makes a clicking noise. Any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?
