Leica 35mm Lens Competition

Leica Fotografie International and LEICA Camera AG is running a competition until December 31, 2009 where you can win a Leica X1 by submitting your best photographs (maximum 10) taken on a classic 35 mm reportage lens — any brand on any camera [see list of acceptable lenses below].

This is not a Leica-exclusive contest, so all camera platforms are welcomed. Entries can be in color or B&W, in portrait or landscape format.

Important! Only pictures taken with a classic 35 mm reportage lens — or an equivalent focal length for Leica M8, Leica R9 + DMR, Leica Digilux, Leica D-Lux or other camera system of any make — are allowed into the contest (see list below).

Analogue 35 mm cameras and digital cameras with full format sensor such as Leica M9 35 mm
Cameras with APS-C sensor such as LEICA M8, LEICA R9 + DMR 24 mm, 28 mm
Camera with FourThirds and Micro-FT, such as LEICA Digilux III 18 mm
D-Lux, C-Lux, V-Lux, Digilux 1 and 2 Equivalent focal length between 32 and 38 mm. The focal length information is listed in the Exif file (file properties) embedded in the photograph.
