Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

We have been riveted to the news happening in Japan, and our hearts go out to everyone touched by the tragedy, especially those in Sendai and Fukushima who are most affected by the earthquake, tsunami and potential radiation fallout. To many of the younger generation, this may be the first tragedy of significance they have witnessed. To those who have been around a while, this is not the first and won’t be the last, unfortunately. One moment we are watching others suffer; the next we may be in the midst of it ourselves.

As these events occur before our eyes, day by day, it certainly puts things in perspective and we are poignantly reminded that there are more important things in life than photography, cameras, iPads and other gadgets. Namely, family, relationships, and making time for those you love and care about.
