A lot of us, Stuck @ Home, meet clients, students and teachers via video calls. Finding a proper place to position your computer (so there’s adequate light falling on your face) and with an appropriate background behind (so people do not see the junk or personal stuff) can sometimes be quite a challenge, especially if you have limited real estate to move around. Sure, you can always blur the background, but using a beautiful scene is much more interesting.
In that vein, Sony is making available pictures you can use as your virtual backgrounds, courtesy of members of their Artisans of Imagery and Alpha Imaging Collective. Copyright for the photos remain with the authors, but they’re kindly allowing us to use their art as personal backgrounds for our video calls.
