COMMENT
Vampire Weekend is an American indie rock band which seems to be basking in the limelight that its Contra album is receiving, courtesy of Ann Kirsten Kennis, the model pictured on the album’s cover.
Apparently, the picture is a Polaroid taken by Ann’s mother and she only discovered her cover star role when her teenage daughter brought the album. However, photographer Tod Brody disputes that version of events and Kennis’ claim that he did not take the photo.
