The Ingenious Flipper Bridge

How do you provide a seamless transition from left-side of the road driving to right-side of the road driving? The Flipper Bridge designers (the Dutch firm NL Architects) solved this problem and it seems so natural, so obvious — yet so ingenious.

The Flipper Bridge connects mainland China (drives on the right side of the road) and Hong Kong (drives on the left side of the road).
