Expansion of the lineup of lenses for Nikon 1, Advanced Camera with Interchangeable Lenses, 1 NIKKOR VR 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 ultra wide-angle zoom lens with a 100° angle of view and 1 NIKKOR VR 10-100mm f/4-5.6 compact and lightweight 10x zoom lens
TOKYO – Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the 1 NIKKOR VR 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 and the 1 NIKKOR VR 10-100mm f/4-5.6, two new lenses that will expand the lineup of 1 NIKKOR lenses for Nikon 1, Advanced Cameras with Interchangeable Lenses.
The 1 NIKKOR VR 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 is an ultra wide-angle zoom lens that offers a 100° angle of view, and the 6.7-13mm range of focal lengths (equivalent to 18-35mm in 35-mm [135] format). The lens has the widest angle of view among 1 NIKKOR lenses, allowing users to capture wide angle images that emphasize scale through distant landscapes, as well as being able to get up close to subjects in tight areas while still being able to capture a wide surrounding area. The 1 NIKKOR VR 6.7 -13mm f/3.5-5.6 also offers detailed and sharp rendering through high resolution, making it ideal for dynamic artistic expressions of everyday scenes, buildings and landscapes. Even equipped with a vibration reduction mechanism (VR), the lens is designed to be compact enough to be easily carried around, with a maximum diameter of approximately 56.5 mm, a length of approximately 46 mm*1, and weighing approximately 125 g.
