Storybook Wolf Wildlife Photography Winner Controversy

Another photography controversy has erupted, this time of the Veolia Environnement Wildlife photographer of the year competition. Rival photographers and a wolf expert alleged that a tame wolf was used in the picture and coaxed or trained to jump the gate instead of squeezing between the bars, as a wild specimen would. This is in direct breach of competition rules that forbid the use of a tame and captive “model” animal. The judging panel have reconvened to investigate the allegations.
