What does a million photos look like? That’s how many get uploaded to Flickr in a 24-hour period and Artist Erik Kessler’s exhibit at the Foam gallery in Amsterdam gives us an idea of just what 1 million printed pictures look like. Each print is a real photo that was uploaded to Flickr within one 24 hour day span.

Endless Interestingness

One of the reasons why we like Flickr so much is because there are so many beautiful images on it. But finding them can be a hit and miss proposition. Now, a site has made finding these images much easier [OK, that's debatable] by creating an endless matrix of thumbnails of interesting pictures from Flickr. It’s endless because as you move your cursor up, down, right, left or diagonally, you keep “swimming” in that sea of interesting pictures. I love it!

Toyota Apologizes For Using Flickr Pictures

Lots of people now use Flickr pictures to illustrate articles and even digital photography tutorials (giving the false impression they know what they are talking about).

Now Toyota U.S.A. has apologized to Flickr photographers for using (about 40) Flickr images without their permission in its 4Runner SUV ad.
