Love macro photography but couldn’t care less about the movie mode on your DSLR? Why not expand your horizons a bit and try your hand at both? This will give you a good justification to at last try out the movie features on your DSLR while still doing what you love best. Maybe take a little inspiration from Rickard Bengtsson and his Small World.

More and more professional photographers are incorporating video and still photography to advertise their services. Bill Frakes and Laura Heald from Straw Hat Visuals use them very effectively and we present here “Abandon: The Backstage Video.”

Mike Chaney has a very interesting article on Steve’s Digicams about the state of DSLR Video as currently available only on the Nikon D90 and Canon EOS 5D Mark II. It is balanced, quite informative and places the DSLR video feature in the right context.
