“No Photography” Law Amended

Can it be true? UK Police has been instructed to stop using anti-terror laws to question and search innocent photographers.

The message says: “Officers and community support officers are reminded that we should not be stopping and searching people for taking photos. Unnecessarily restricting photography, whether from the casual tourist or professional, is unacceptable.”

Chalk it up to another episode of “No Photography here, (Please)” as two police Community Support Officers use anti-terrorism legislation to stop a Brighton-based photographer from taking images of Christmas lights.
