The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 is stylish
in its metal ultra-compact body, and features
7.2MP resolution on a 1/2.5-in. image sensor,
3x optical zoom and an extra large 2.5-in. LCD
monitor.
It has 56MB built-in internal memory, and can
take up to 4GB Memory Stick DUO PRO media capacity.
The Sony W55 has an AF-assist lamp to help achieve
focus in low-light situations, macro as close
as 2 cm (0.8 in.), and easy-to-use scene modes.
Record VGA (640 x 480) audio/video clips at high
frame rate (up to 30 frames per second), with
length limited only by the capacity of your media.
The Cyber-shot W55 is PictBridge compatible,
allowing direct printing from the camera to any
PictBridge compatible printer.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 is available
in four colours: Silver, Black, Pink and Blue.
It should appeal to photographers looking for
an ultra-compact, high resolution, take-anywhere
digital camera.
