The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 is stylish
in its metal ultra-compact body, and features
7.2MP resolution on a 1/2.5-in. image sensor,
3x optical zoom and a large 2.0-in. LCD monitor.
It has 24MB built-in internal memory, and can
take up to 4GB Memory Stick DUO PRO media capacity.
The Sony S650 has a high sensitivity of ISO 1000,
macro as close as 5 cm (2 in.), and easy-to-use
scene modes. Record QVGA (320 x 240) audio/video
clips at high frame rate (up to 30 frames per
second), with length limited only by the capacity
of your media.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 should appeal
to entry-level photographers looking for a compact,
high resolution, take-anywhere digital camera.
The Sony S700 has
a larger 2.4-in. LCD.
The Sony W35 has
a smaller 2.0-in. LCD but higher resolution VGA
movie and a Carl Zeiss lens.
If you desire a larger 2.5-in LCD monitor and
VGA movie mode, check out the Sony
W55 which is available in four colours: Silver,
Black, Pink and Blue.
