The Sony DSC-H5 Cyber-shot is a 7.2MP
ultra zoom featuring 12x optical zoom with Super
SteadyShot® Optical Image Stabilization.
The Sony H5 has a Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar
lens with a maximum aperture of F2.8, shutter
speed range from 1 - 1/2,000 sec. (30 - 1/1,000
sec. in Shutter-Priority and Manual mode), and
2cm (0.8 in.) macro. Exposure control includes
Programmed AE, Shutter-Priority, Aperture-Priority
and Manual modes, plus 7 Scene Modes. It has an
AF Illuminator for low-light shooting.
The Sony H5 will record 640x480 MPEG VX movies
with sound at 30fps when using the Memory Stick
PRO DUO™ media. There is an extra large 3.0
in. LCD monitor with a high resolution 230K pixels.
The Sony DSC-H5 Cyber-shot will appeal
to serious amateur photographers desiring a long
zoom digital camera with image stabilization,
a large hand grip, and flexible exposure control.
