Samsung positions the EX2F as a Wi-Fi-enabled SMART camera — a high-end compact digital camera with a bright F1.4 ultra wide angle zoom lens (3.3x optical zoom, 24-80mm equiv.), built-in Optical Image Stabilization, a 12.4MP (1/1.7-in.) BSI CMOS sensor, and a 7.6-cm (3.0-in.) swivelling AMOLED display (614k-dot) in a very professional-looking all-black magnesium alloy body.

The F1.4 (W) – F2.7 (T) lens is one of the brightest available and great for low light photography. The 3.0-in. swiveling AMOLED screen allows shooting from pretty much any angle, including those tricky overhead and low-to-the-ground shots. Movie is Full HD 1920x1080p at 30fps with stereo sound.

Features advanced photographers will appreciate: PASM shooting modes, manual focus, EV (Front) Dial and Dual Dial, RAW, and an internal Neutral Density (ND) filter.

Wi-Fi enables images to be wirelessly transferred from camera to a PC or the Cloud. Mobile Link allows the camera to connect with smartphones. Remote Viewfinder allows you to use your smartphone’s screen to frame and take shots.

The Samsung EX2F is available in black and is priced at about US $499.
