Fujifilm Unveils the
Sleek and Stylish FinePix F470
New digital camera offers
performance, features and style

– Fuji Photo Film Canada Inc. today
announced the debut of an exciting new addition
to the popular F-series line. The FinePix
F470 continues the company’s commitment
to maximum function, design, performance
and dependability. Encased in a sleek, aluminum-finish
body, this 6.0-megapixel camera offers superior
features that will allow for greater ease
of use and premium photo-taking capabilities.
“This latest addition to our FinePix
lineup provides consumers with functionality
that will make it easier to capture great
shots with ease,” said Doug Snyder,
Marketing Manager, Consumer Digital, Fujifilm
Canada. “This camera has all the features
that the style-conscious consumer is looking
for. In addition, its sleek exterior and
compact form make it one of the ‘must-have’
cameras for 2006,” continued Mr. Snyder.
Building on consumer demand for both functionality
and style, the FinePix F470 boasts a 2.5
inch LCD monitor, making on-the-spot photo-taking
a breeze. Added to the roster of features
is a mode dial that allows for the selection
of Auto, SP or Movie mode with a single
touch. With 3x optical zoom and 16MB of
internal memory, the on-the-go consumer
will be ready to take that perfect photo
any place, any time. With the FinePix F470
in hand, anyone can take a photo and know
they’ll get that perfect shot.
“Fuji wanted to provide the consumer
with a high-resolution camera for everyday
digital photography use,” said Mr.
Snyder. “With 6.0 megapixel capability,
the FinePix F470 will provide professional
camera quality to the digital photography
lover.”
The FinePix F470 also has VGA movie capabilities
of 30 frames per second with sound, and
live video of 60 frames per second. Included
with this model is a lithium-ion rechargeable
battery and charger.
The FinePix F470
will be available in March 2006 for an estimated
street price of $369.99 CDN.
