Pentax *ist DL with DA 18-55mm Lens

Category: Family dSLR

The new Pentax *ist DL is targeted to families and beginner digital camera users who desire a Point-and-Shoot digital SLR. Already the smallest dSLR around, the Pentax *ist DL mixes dSLR image quality and speed of operation with ease-of-use.

It features 6.1 megapixel resolution -- more than you'd ever need to print large 11x13 in. enlargements and even larger; a 2.5 in. LCD monitor (though remember, the LCD monitor does not give a live view in Record mode in a dSLR); Auto Picture mode for automatic exposure selection; interchangeable lenses (comes with the PENTAX DA 18-55mm 3x optical zoom Lens); accepts external flash units; all in a compact high-rigidity stainless-steel body.

If you have a 35mm SLR now and have enjoyed taking family pictures with it for years, now you can have the same experience in digital photography with the Pentax *ist DL.
