Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS75 / LS70

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS75

Category: Point-and-Shoot

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS75 / LS70 has 7.2MP resolution and is equipped with 3x optical zoom (equivalent to a 35-105mm zoom on a 35mm film camera). An Easy Zoom button provides immediate access to the maximum 3x power of the optical zoom.

The LS75 / LS70 features the MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) system to fight against hand-shake, the major cause of blurry images. In addition, the LS75 / LS70 compensates for the other major cause of blurry images --subject movement -- with the Intelligent ISO Control function which detects subject movement and adjusts the ISO setting and shutter speed to best suit the movement and light conditions automatically. Together, they form Intelligent Image Stabilizer.

Venus Engine III in the LS75 / LS70 allows high-sensitivity recording up to ISO 1250 at full resolution with an improved noise reduction system which maintains high resolution.

Like dates on your pictures? A new Date Stamp feature allows you to select from Baby and Pet mode to print the age of a child or pet by inputting the birthdate in advance.

The LS75 and LS70 run on two AA batteries, and the supplied Oxyride batteries have a CIPA rating of 250 photos. Optional rechargeable NiMH batteries have a CIPA rating of 460.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS75 / LS70 is affordable and the first-time user will find it an easy-to-use entry-level compact digital camera with image stabilization and 3x zoom.
