Panasonic Lumix LS1

Category: Point-and-Shoot

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS1 features 4MP resolution, a large 2 in. LCD monitor, and 3x optical zoom with image stabilization in a compact body.

Image stabilization is important when using long zoom and slow shutter speeds to help reduce camera shake, and hence reduce the chances of obtaining blurry images.

Though the Panasonic LS1 is a point-and-shoot digital camera, it incorporates some features that more advanced amateur photographers will appreciate: a real-time histogram for determining optimum exposure, and composition guide lines to help keep your horizontal level. It also allows unlimited consecutive shooting up to the capacity of the SD Memory Card.

The Panasonic LS1 features 14MB of internal flash memory and is PictBridge-compatible which lets you print directly on a PictBridge-compatible digital printer without going through a computer.
