The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100
has 12.2MP resolution,
3.6x optical zoom with image stabilization, a
large 2.5-in. high-resolution (207K) LCD monitor,
and a wide-angle 28mm LEICA DC lens in a compact and elegant body.
The f/2.8 28mm wide angle Leica
DC Vario-ELmarit Lens allows you to cover a wider
view than most digital cameras do with their standard
35mm focal length. A wide angle lens lets you
capture group shots of family and friends or expansive
architectural structures and sceneries. [ Learn

The FX100 features the MEGA O.I.S.
(Optical Image Stabilizer) system to compensate against
camera shake, the major cause of blurry images.
In addition, the FX100 deals with the other
major cause of blurry images --subject movement
-- with the Intelligent ISO Control function which
detects subject movement and adjusts the ISO setting
and shutter speed to best suit the movement and
light conditions automatically. Together, they
form Intelligent Image Stabilizer.
Movies with sound are recorded in wide aspect
VGA (848x480) at 30fps or 1280 x 720 @ 15fps.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100
is JeansPocket
Certified and should appeal to those desiring
a take anywhere ultra compact with image stabilization and a wide-angle lens.
