Olympus Camedia C-5060 Wide Zoom

Category: Advanced Amateur - Prosumer

Housed in all all-black magnesium body, the Olympus Camedia C-5060 Wide Zoom replaces the popular C-5050 and brings an extra wide angle zoom and fully articulated high resolution LCD.

Many prosumers have been clamoring for proper wide angle coverage and the Camedia C-5060 Wide Zoom provides a 35mm equivalent of 27mm. Telephoto is at 110mm, providing approx. 4x optical zoom.

An interesting feature of the Olympus Camedia C-5060 Wide Zoom is that it has dual memory card slots and will accept xD-Picture Card (32MB included) and Compact Flash type I or II IBM Microdrive 1GB. Both cards may be used simultaneously.

Another notable feature is that it is PictBridge-enabled, thus allowing it to print directly to any other PictBridge-compatible printer, regardless of the brand.

The Olympus Camedia C-5060 Wide Zoom should appeal to advanced amateur photographers who desire high quality image together with a high degree of control. Wireless remote controller included.
