If you are looking for a point-and-shoot digital camera for a first-time user, look no further than the Olympus D-395 Digital which offers 3.2-megapixel resolution in a compact durable polycarbonate body with a protective clamshell barrier.

It has no optical zoom, with a fixed focal length equivalent to 33 mm. Maximum aperture is F2.8, and shutter speed ranges from 1/800 sec. to 2 sec. Besides Auto mode, there are four scene modes to help control exposure, as well as a Panorama feature.

The Olympus D-395 Digital should appeal to first-time users desiring an entry-level point-and-shoot digital camera.
