The Olympus Stylus 710 Digital (Mju
700 Digital in UK) features 7.1MP resolution
on a 1/2.3 in. CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom,
an extra large and bright 2.5-in. LCD monitor
(115,000 pixels) and Bright Capture Technology
which allows for enhanced previewing and image
quality in low light.
One of the main attraction of the Olympus Stylus
710 is its All-Weather capability: Strategically
placed seals and gaskets protect the camera from
moisture and dust. Note that it is not waterproof
[for that, you need the Stylus
720 SW].
The Olympus Stylus 710 provides 28 useful shooting
modes, including 24 easy-to-use Scene Modes and
QuickTime (640 x 480)
15fps movie with sound. A built-in Help GUIDE
provides tips to help you decide which setting
is ideal for each situation.
Digital Image Stabilization favours a high ISO
so the camera can select as fast a shutter speed
as possible to minimize blurring caused by camera
shake and subject movement.
PictBridge technology enables photos to be printed
directly from the Olympus Stylus 710 to any PictBridge-enabled
printer.
