The Olympus Stylus 1000 All-Weather (Mju
1000 Digital in UK) has 10MP resolution on
a 1/1.8-in. image sensor, 3x optical zoom, a high
resolution (230,000 pixels) and large 2.5-in.
LCD monitor. Like all Stylus digital cameras,
it is protected by All-Weather seals and gaskets
that renders it splash-proof, dust-proof and snow
proof.
Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) favours a high
ISO (up to ISO 6400) and fast shutter speed to
reduce or eliminate blurred shots caused by camera
shake and subject movement.
Bright Capture Technology helps you frame shots
on the LCD in dimly lit conditions. Coupled with
Available Light Portrait, Indoors, Candle, and
Image Blur scene modes, this enables you to view
and capture low-light shots.
Perfect Fix editing allows you to brighten up
dark images, reduce red-eye and eliminate blurriness
(using Digital Image Stabilization Edit) after
the shot is taken right in the camera.
The Olympus Stylus 750 provides 24 useful shooting
modes, including QuickTime (640
x 480 @ 30fps) with sound.
PictBridge technology enables photos to be printed
directly from the camera to any PictBridge-enabled
printer.
The Olympus Stylus 1000 should appeal
to those desiring a high resolution and ultra
compact with all-weather protection and the Stylus
famed ease of use.
