The Olympus SP-565 Ultra Zoom takes the SP-570 UZ and shrinks it even more by shaving off about 2.5mm off the width and almost 7mm off the depth. The SP-565 UZ stays at 10MP resolution and provides a 20x wide-angle optical zoom (26-520mm, 35mm equiv.) with sensor-shift Image Stabilization.
The tremendous reach of the SP-565 UZ means that it provides both a wide-angle (which is obligatory for capturing wide landscapes and large groups) as well as an exceptional tele reach (great for zooming in on the action in sports photography).
