The EVOLT E-410 lacks the CCD-shift Mechanical Image Stabilization (IS) that compensates for camera shake found in the EVOLT E-510.
The EVOLT E-410 has 30 shooting modes and provides
full exposure flexibility for the advanced photographers
as well as 20 Scene Modes for beginner photographers.
It has dual memory card slots and accepts the
xD-Picture Card and CompactFlash Type I &
II (including Microdrives) cards.
The EVOLT E-410 can be purchased with the new kit lens: a light and compact Zuiko
Digital ED 14-42 mm f3.5 - f5.6 Lens (28-84mm,
35mm equivalent) which weighs just 7.5 ounces.
Close-ups as near as 9.84 inches (0.25 m) are
possible throughout the zoom range.
In addition, a two-lens kit is available that
adds for a mere US $100 the Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm
f4.0-5.6 (80-300mm equivalent) Lens.
Being part of the Olympus E-System, the EVOLT
E-410 is compatible with the large and growing
range of Olympus E-System accessories, including
the full line-up of Zuiko Digital Specific lenses
and flashes.

the EVOLT E-510.
