Olympus C-7000 Zoom Review

Review Date: Jan 24, 2005

Category: Serious Amateur

The Olympus Camedia C-7000 Zoom features 7.1MP resolution (on a 1/1.8 in. image sensor), 5x optical wide-angle zoom (38-190, 35 mm equivalent), and Super Macro to as close as 2 cm (0.8 in.).

Clad in a durable and rugged aluminum body with a titanium finish, the Olympus C-7000 packs full exposure control, a large 2 in. semi-transmissive LCD, and high-res movie at 30fps VGA 640 X 480 QuickTime with sound.

All the features of a serious digital camera are present in the Olympus C-7000 (though accessed mostly from the menu) allowing experimentation and full control.

The Olympus Camedia C-7000 Zoom should appeal to serious amateur photographers who desire high quality images together with a high degree of control in a compact and affordable package.
