Nova Scotian Photographers Age 50 or Older: Exhibit Your Work in the Seniors’ Art and Photo Gallery in Halifax

Seniors’ Art and Photo Gallery
Art and photography can be a pleasant and rewarding hobby. Nova Scotian Seniors, 50 and over, are invited to become exhibitors in the Gallery. The Gallery is open to beginning and experienced photographers and artists. No fees are charged and the works are not judged. Artists price their own art and receive the full amount of sale. When a piece is sold, the artist is contacted and may replace it with another. Individuals who register with the gallery will be given an opportunity to participate in future exhibitions. Prior to an exhibit, information will be sent to each artist/photographer. Included will be an application form, framing guidelines and the history of the Gallery.

The art and photos on display are a lasting legacy that mirrors the interests, diversity and creative talents within the 50 plus age group. The Department of Seniors is pleased to sponsor the Seniors’ Art and Photo Gallery, which encourages creativity and participation of older Nova Scotians in society.
