Nikon Coolpix S7c
Mouseover image for back view

Category: Point-and-Shoot

The Nikon Coolpix S7c is a compact all-metal digital camera with a sleek and stylish Wave Design that fits easily into a pocket or a purse. It replaces the Coolpix S6 and has 7.1MP resolution, a 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor ED lens, an extra large and bright 3.0-in. LCD monitor with a high 230,000 pixels resolution and 170 degree wide angle of view.

The Nikon S7c accepts the Secure Digital (SD) card and has about 14MB of Internal Memory. New is a One-Touch Portrait Button that automatically activates In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and Face-Priority AF.

Pictmotion allows the creation of in-camera slide shows with music. Included in the box is a rechargeable EN-EL8 battery (that takes up to 200 pictures on a single charge) and Docking Station.

A High Sensitivity mode automatically adjusts the sensivity (up to ISO 1600) to make it easier to shoot in low light.

Of course, what really distinguishes the Nikon S7c from other compact digital cameras is the built-in WiFi capability for wireless transfer and printing -- no more messy wires.

With Wireless COOLPIX Connect, you can now email pictures directly from the camera. To that effect, Nikon is giving a One Year Free T-Mobile(R) HotSpot(R) Service for Digital Cameras that makes it easy to send pictures.

The Nikon Coolpix S7c should appeal to point-and-shoot photographers desiring a compact digital camera with wireless capability -- available in Black or Silver.
