The Nikon Coolpix S50 is a slim all-metal digital camera with a sleek and stylish Wave Design that fits easily into a pocket or a purse. It features 7.2MP resolution and a 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens with optical vibration reduction.

The extra large and bright 3.0-in. LCD monitor has a high 230,000 pixels resolution and 170 degree wide angle of view. The One-Touch Portrait button provides direct access to a number of features: Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, and D-Lighting.

The Nikon Coolpix S50 should appeal to point-and-shoot photographers desiring a compact digital camera with image stabilization.

For about US $50 more, the Nikon S50c features Wi-Fi connection.
