The Nikon Coolpix S10 is a compact digital
camera with the unique Nikon twist lens design
that makes it easy to take pictures from high
and very low angles. It replaces the Coolpix
S4 and has 6.0MP resolution, a 10x optical
Zoom-Nikkor lens, a large 2.5-in. LCD monitor
with a high 230,000 pixels resolution.
The Nikon S10 features true image stabilization
(CCD shift), called Vibration Reduction, that
minimizes blurred shots caused by camera shake.
The Nikon S10 accepts the Secure Digital (SD)
card and has about 16MB of Internal Memory. In-Camera
Red-Eye Fix™ automatically removes most instances
of red-eye in the camera; Face-Priority AF, Nikon's
face-finding technology, automatically finds and
focuses on face(s); and, D-Lighting lightens dark
images, in-camera, for great prints right out
of the camera.
Pictmotion allows the creation of in-camera slide
shows with music. Included in the box is a rechargeable
EN-EL8 battery (that takes up to 200 pictures
on a single charge) and Docking Station.
A High Sensitivity mode automatically adjusts
the sensivity (up to ISO 800) to make it easier
to shoot in low light.
The Nikon Coolpix S10 should appeal to
