A teaser is up on the Pentax Imaging website on the new K DSLR to be revealed May 20, 2009. Let me guess: Full frame, HD Video, Live View, Vari-angle LCD, weather and dust resistant body, superb low noise at high ISOs, incredible wide dynamic range,….

What, no? Please camera manufacturers, do not tease us unless you can provide exceptional low noise at high ISOs and wide dynamic range. Anything else is, yawn….

The Pentax K-7 (?) may yet surprise us.

Rumor specs are: APS-C sensor, 3.0-in. LCD, Live View, Video with mono sound, weather-resistant body, and weather-resistant kit lens DA 18-55/3.5-5.6 AL. Dimensions: 130W x 96H x 76D mm.
