The Minolta DiMAGE Z2 is basically a DiMAGE
Z1 improved with 4.0 megapixels resolution and
a Mega-zoom featuring the all-glass apochromatic
(APO) lens. Its 10x optical zoom is equivalent
to a 38 - 380mm 35mm camera lens.
The DiMAGE Z2 retains the distinctive futuristic
look, has fast operations, and provides flexible
exposure control. Those who wear glasses will
welcome the diopter control on the viewfinder,
which covers about 98% of the frame. The 1.5 in.
LCD has anti-reflection coating and covers approx.
100% of the frame. In fact, with the Switch Finder
system, you can view the LCD monitor either directly
or through the viewfinder (98% frame coverage).
The Z2 is full-featured and will appeal to soccer
moms and wildlife photographers, both beginner
and serious amateur photographers, who desire
an ultra zoom digital camera with easy point-and-shoot
as well as flexible exposure control.
