Learn Photography By Signing Up For One of the Hasselblad Experience Workshops 2017

You can now shoot some of the world’s most spectacular landscapes using Hasselblad medium format cameras and lenses by signing up for one of the Hasselblad Experience Workshops.

The Hasselblad Experience Workshops are held in various locations offering breath-taking landscapes: Iceland (Aurora Borealis), Slovenia (Julian Alps, glacial lakes and rivers, the old walled city of Piran, and the historic city of Ljubljana) and Scotland (The Isle of Skye).

Studio portrait workshop sessions are also scheduled in Lisbon and Hamburg.

Hasselblad announces inspiring photography experiences around the world

Hasselblad, the leading manufacturer of medium format cameras and lenses, has announced the 2017 Hasselblad Experience series. Hasselblad Experience workshops are held across the world and offer an unparalleled educational experience for photo enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Hosted by a selection of top photographers, guests will have access to a range of professional Hasselblad equipment during the trips including the X1D and all existing lenses. Whether guests are new to photography or established photographers, they will learn a variety of techniques to develop their skills, and perfect their shooting and composition while visiting some of the world’s most spectacular landscapes.

From the natural phenomenon of Iceland to Slovenian mountains, guests will embark on the ultimate trip of their choosing for a breath-taking, informative and inspiring expedition. During each Hasselblad Experience, product experts will be on site to ensure guests have confidence using the cameras and to improve their photographic style.

The 2017 Hasselblad Experience schedule:

March – June (one per month) – Lisbon and Hamburg – Studio Workshops
The Ivo von Renner Portrait session. For one weekend guests will receive training on each element of an image structure to the final portrait. The session will show guests how to retain or bring out the physiognomy and character of the object.

May 2nd – May 12th, 2017 – Slovenia – Photograph the Beauty of Slovenia in Springtime
Experience a range of incredible photographic locations and experiment with a variety of photography techniques during this 10-day workshop led by Andy Williams. Discover Slovenia and the Julian Alps and capture stunning images of mountain landscapes, glacial lakes and rivers as well as scenes of everyday life in traditional villages, the old walled city of Piran, and the historic city of Ljubljana.

September 30 – October 7, 2017 – Iceland – The Beauty of Aurora Borealis
Encounter the natural wonder of the Aurora Borealis on one of the world’s most magical islands, together with Iceland veteran and Hasselblad Master Hans Strand. Experience aerial photography from a helicopter over Lake Hvitarvatn and learn the unique challenges of landscape photography and how to capture its spaciousness and dynamic energy.

October 14th – October 21th, 2017 – Scotland Skye – Into Thin Air
Travel to one of the most iconic locations for landscape photography with Hasselblad Master and Scotland expert Tom D. Jones. The Isle of Skye is known for its majestic mountain peaks, roaring waterfalls and ancient castles. Its changing weather patterns create atmospheric lighting conditions that are ideal for dramatic photography.
